This year we trek through Africa, Asia, and Australia, so put on your hiking boots and engage your intellectual curiosity! We've much to learn, but, if you are willing, it promises to be an exciting journey. Our study will rely upon your inquiry and productivity. You'll be involved in research, problem-solving, projects, seminars, and presentations. Together, you and I will be the creative energy that powers this study, maps the journey, and determines our stops along the way.

This is how interim and trimester grades will be determined: 

10% seminar participation and homework

40% projects

40% tests and quizzes (including journal pages) 

10% daily class focus and work completed in class
