You decide which assignment you complete for each trimester. It is best if you choose your assignment to augment our study that trimester. Place your name on the calender to schedule a time to share with the class.

• Visit a restaurant that serves Asia, African, or Australian cuisine.

       Be brave. Try something new. Have you eaten Ethiopian, Indian, Lebanese, Vietnamese, Tai . . . foods?

• Visit a museum, store, or market that displays/sells items from A, A, or A.

       Example: Ten Thousand Villages, Shibui, World Market, Himalayan Frontiers, an Asian market, an Indian market

• Interview an individual who has lived in A, A, or A.

1st trimester (Aug 19 - Nov 19):

Ancient Egypt and Africa

2nd trimester (Nov 20 - Mar 9):

Middle East, India and Central Asia, and China

3rd trimester (Mar 10 - June 5):

Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, Philippines, Indonesia, and Australia,
